Day and night, each with its own light. Sun and Moon Reverie · Sunlit Arc uses colored brass. A small sun rests at the upper right as cloud ribbons open from the upper left. Three distant shoreline strokes below leave room for light. The shared near-circular outline, smooth thin rounded rim with four tiny warm-brass band marks gathers the composition. Graphite-black colored brass with restrained warm-brass accents is shaped by fine lines and shallow relief. A warm-brass dot at the upper left and two shoreline strokes at the lower right simplify the reverse. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and coordinated fittings connect the two faces. Each has its own balance of detail and open space, while sharing the material, palette and decorative language of Sun and Moon Reverie.
