Four Weather Signs · Rolling Thunder

Clouds rise and rain falls; the pattern holds their echo. Four Weather Signs · Rolling Thunder uses colored brass. Three angular thunder curls gather at the lower right, answered by a small cloud and two warm-brass turns. The shared rounded DIAMOND outline, rotated-square proportions with four broadly rounded cardinal corners, thin smooth graphite rim with four tiny warm-brass bands gathers the composition. Graphite-black colored brass with restrained warm-brass accents is shaped by fine lines and shallow relief. A small thunder curl at the upper left and short lines at the lower right simplify the reverse. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and coordinated fittings connect the two faces. Each has its own balance of detail and open space, while sharing the material, palette and decorative language of Four Weather Signs.
