Yinglong · Listening to Thunder

Wings cross the sky; rain meets the rivers. Yinglong · Listening to Thunder uses indigo-blue colored brass and fine warm-brass lines, with shallow relief enclosed by a thin round rim. Yinglong pauses on a low stone at upper right and looks back toward the upper left, its wings partly gathered. An angular cloud at left and two fine wind lines below balance stillness and movement. Feather details, scale lines and a sparse setting continue the collection’s shared visual language. The reverse retains one angular cloud at upper left and one shallow stone at lower right. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and plain warm-brass fittings bring the primary face and simpler reverse together.
