Three Cloud Realms · Cloud Gate
Clouds open, and each mountain becomes a world. Three Cloud Realms · Cloud Gate uses colored brass. Two rocky pillars stand apart along the upper field, connected by sparse cloud. Low terraces gather the composition below. The shared gently rounded HEXAGON outline with six equal soft corners, thin warm-brass rim and fine inner line gathers the composition. Deep-brown colored brass with warm-brass relief and restrained silver-white accents is shaped by fine lines and shallow relief. A pillar fragment at the lower left and a small cloud at the upper right remain on the reverse. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and coordinated fittings connect the two faces. Each has its own balance of detail and open space, while sharing the material, palette and decorative language of Three Cloud Realms.
