Wind, Forest, Fire and Mountain · Following the Wind

Between movement and stillness, each form finds its own rhythm. Wind, Forest, Fire and Mountain · Following the Wind uses colored brass. Wind lines move diagonally from the lower left toward the upper right, followed by three small leaves. The lower-right field stays open. The shared rounded-square outline, fine inner border, smooth thin graphite rim with four short warm-brass corner bands gathers the composition. Graphite-black colored brass with restrained warm-brass accents is shaped by fine lines and shallow relief. Two wind lines at the upper left and a single leaf at the lower right remain on the reverse. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and coordinated fittings connect the two faces. Each has its own balance of detail and open space, while sharing the material, palette and decorative language of Wind, Forest, Fire and Mountain.
