Nine postures, each with its own expression. Nine Dragon Transformations · Rising Through Clouds shares the collection’s round thin rim and graphite-black colored brass, with restrained warm-brass accents on selected scales and horn tips. A single dragon rises from lower right toward a lifted head at upper left; two loose clouds and raised foreclaws support the upward motion, with open space below left. Fine scales and flowing whiskers follow the continuous metal field, while the central mounting area stays quiet and both auxiliary apertures remain open. Two small clouds at the lower right and a horn-shaped accent at the upper left carry the upward motion onto the reverse. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and coordinated brass fittings connect the two faces and continue the collection’s shared palette and ornament.
