Stars move in the distance; their paths remain close at hand. Three Stellar Orbits · Crossing Paths uses colored brass. Two orbits meet at the lower left, pass around the central field and reach toward the upper right. Two small stars anchor the edge. The shared softly rounded TRIANGLE outline with three equally broad rounded corners, thin graphite rim with one fine warm-brass inner line gathers the composition. Graphite-black colored brass with restrained warm-brass accents is shaped by fine lines and shallow relief. Short crossing paths at the upper right and a single star at the lower left echo the front. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and coordinated fittings connect the two faces. Each has its own balance of detail and open space, while sharing the material, palette and decorative language of Three Stellar Orbits.
