Order in a small space, guardianship given form. Pixiu Guardian · Head Held High uses natural brass, compact shallow-relief beast forms and geometric corner engravings within a thin rounded-square rim. A Pixiu stands along the left rim and raises its head toward the upper right, its four paws firmly placed. A plain circular emblem above and a sparse cloud below guide the eye upward with its gaze. A fine satin field and natural metallic highlights bring out the beast and angular lines. The reverse retains one plain circular emblem at upper left and one small cloud at lower right. A plain central field and single tapered aperture remain clear. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and plain warm-brass fittings continue the collection’s shared material and ornament.
