Four Weather Signs · Drifting Cloud

Clouds rise and rain falls; the pattern holds their echo. Four Weather Signs · Drifting Cloud uses colored brass. Three cloud curls drift from the lower left toward the upper right. Small warm-brass edges mark their movement, while the upper left stays quiet. The shared rounded DIAMOND outline, rotated-square proportions with four broadly rounded cardinal corners, thin smooth graphite rim with four tiny warm-brass bands gathers the composition. Graphite-black colored brass with restrained warm-brass accents is shaped by fine lines and shallow relief. Only a small cloud at the upper left and airflow lines at the lower right remain on the reverse. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and coordinated fittings connect the two faces. Each has its own balance of detail and open space, while sharing the material, palette and decorative language of Four Weather Signs.
