Phoenix Splendor · Riding the Wind

Flowing feathers, a scene of their own. Phoenix Splendor · Riding the Wind shares the collection’s four-lobed outline, deep vermilion colored brass and restrained warm-brass feather accents. A single phoenix flies diagonally from lower left toward upper right, its wing tips and two thin clouds following the motion while the long tail trails below left. Shallow feather relief meets fine lines, while a single central mounting aperture leaves a continuous metal field for the ornament and open space. The reverse retains two thin cloud lines at upper right and a small feather tip at lower left. The primary motif and simpler reverse echo one another. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows, plain warm-brass fittings and thin spacers continue the shared visual rhythm of Phoenix Splendor.
