Pixiu Guardian · Resting on Stone

Order in a small space, guardianship given form. Pixiu Guardian · Resting on Stone uses natural brass, compact shallow-relief beast forms and geometric corner engravings within a thin rounded-square rim. A Pixiu rests along the lower arc, raising its head gently to the right with its four legs folded naturally. A short rock contour beneath it and a small cloud at upper right frame the settled pose. A fine satin field and natural metallic highlights bring out the beast and angular lines. The reverse retains one small cloud at upper left and one short rock line at lower right. A plain central field and single tapered aperture remain clear. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and plain warm-brass fittings continue the collection’s shared material and ornament.
