Flowing feathers, a scene of their own. Phoenix Splendor · Facing the Dawn shares the collection’s four-lobed outline, deep vermilion colored brass and restrained warm-brass feather accents. A small warm-brass sun sits at upper left as a single phoenix at right lifts its head toward dawn, wings folded and long tail feathers flowing around the lower-right rim. Shallow feather relief meets fine lines, while a single central mounting aperture leaves a continuous metal field for the ornament and open space. The reverse retains one tiny sun point at upper right and two feather lines at lower left. The primary motif and simpler reverse echo one another. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows, plain warm-brass fittings and thin spacers continue the shared visual rhythm of Phoenix Splendor.
