Quiet open ground holds the night. The shared near-circular outline, smooth thin rounded rim with four tiny warm-brass band marks gathers the composition. Graphite-black colored brass with restrained warm-brass accents is shaped by fine lines and shallow relief. A moon arc at the upper right and water lines at the lower left echo the front. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and coordinated fittings connect the two faces. Each has its own balance of detail and open space, while sharing the material, palette and decorative language of Sun and Moon Reverie.
