Three Tea Garden Scenes · Spring Kettle

Before a word of tea, the garden has grown quiet. Three Tea Garden Scenes · Spring Kettle uses natural brass. A small kettle rests at the lower right. Its short spout, arched handle and light steam create a gentle rhythm, continued by spring lines at the lower left. The shared classic softly four-lobed mokko outline, thin smooth rim and fine inner line gathers the composition. Warm natural brass throughout is shaped by fine lines and shallow relief. Light spring ripples at the upper left and a small steam curl at the lower right remain. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and coordinated fittings connect the two faces. Each has its own balance of detail and open space, while sharing the material, palette and decorative language of Three Tea Garden Scenes.
