Phoenix Splendor · Turning Plumes

Flowing feathers, a scene of their own. Phoenix Splendor · Turning Plumes shares the collection’s four-lobed outline, deep vermilion colored brass and restrained warm-brass feather accents. A single phoenix rises along the left rim and turns its neck toward upper right; a long, loosely returning tail occupies lower right while the center field stays quiet. Shallow feather relief meets fine lines, while a single central mounting aperture leaves a continuous metal field for the ornament and open space. The reverse retains a small crest feather at upper left and one returning arc at lower right. The primary motif and simpler reverse echo one another. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows, plain warm-brass fittings and thin spacers continue the shared visual rhythm of Phoenix Splendor.
