Stars move in the distance; their paths remain close at hand. Three Stellar Orbits · Near Ring uses colored brass. An elliptical orbit curves around the upper field, with three small stars following its path. A single point at the lower left opens the distance. The shared softly rounded TRIANGLE outline with three equally broad rounded corners, thin graphite rim with one fine warm-brass inner line gathers the composition. Graphite-black colored brass with restrained warm-brass accents is shaped by fine lines and shallow relief. A short orbit at the lower right and two stars at the upper left remain. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and coordinated fittings connect the two faces. Each has its own balance of detail and open space, while sharing the material, palette and decorative language of Three Stellar Orbits.
