Eighteen Arhats · Tiger Tamer develops its story through gesture and a distinctive motif. An arhat gently reaches toward a resting striped tiger, framed by rocks and sparse pine branches. Within the round outline, graphite-black colored brass sets off the robe folds, with restrained warm-brass-colored accents tracing the ornament. On the reverse, rocks and simplified tiger stripes echo the front, shifting the balance of detail between the two faces. Paired with black handle wrapping and restrained metal fittings, each face offers its own scene while continuing the shared palette and decorative language of Eighteen Arhats.
