Tortoise Bearing Peaks · Gazing toward the Ridge

Peaks carried in stillness, water given a quiet voice. Tortoise Bearing Peaks · Gazing toward the Ridge uses a rounded-square outline and graphite-gray colored brass, with restrained warm-brass accents along shell ridges and landscape lines. One tortoise at lower left lifts its head toward a distant ridge at upper right; the low shell and high mountain line frame quiet space around the center. Shallow shell relief meets open space around a single central aperture. The reverse retains one distant ridge at upper left and one shell arc at lower right. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and plain warm-brass fittings continue the collection’s shared visual rhythm.
