Ten Scenes Along the Way · Listening to Rain
A passing scene, a moment held in the hand. Ten Scenes Along the Way · Listening to Rain uses a four-lobed outline, graphite-black colored brass and restrained warm-brass accents shared across the collection. A small umbrella rests at the lower right as slanting rain enters from the upper left, balanced by a few reeds below. Only the central mounting aperture is retained, leaving a continuous metal field for the motif and open space. The reverse retains only rain lines at the upper right and a slender reed at the lower left. The two faces balance detail and quiet space. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and coordinated metal fittings continue the calm visual rhythm of Ten Scenes Along the Way.
