Ten Scenes Along the Way · Watching the Tide
A passing scene, a moment held in the hand. Ten Scenes Along the Way · Watching the Tide uses a four-lobed outline, graphite-black colored brass and restrained warm-brass accents shared across the collection. Three wave crests rise from the lower right as fine currents spread along the rim, balanced by two pebbles and a quiet upper field. Only the central mounting aperture is retained, leaving a continuous metal field for the motif and open space. Gentle tide lines at the lower left and a small foam curl at the upper right quieten the scene on the reverse. The two faces balance detail and quiet space. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and coordinated metal fittings continue the calm visual rhythm of Ten Scenes Along the Way.
