Ten Scenes Along the Way · Bamboo Shadows

A passing scene, a moment held in the hand. Ten Scenes Along the Way · Bamboo Shadows uses a four-lobed outline, graphite-black colored brass and restrained warm-brass accents shared across the collection. Three slender bamboo stems rise diagonally from the lower left, opening their leaves toward the upper right and leaving the lower-right field quiet. Only the central mounting aperture is retained, leaving a continuous metal field for the motif and open space. A small leaf spray at the lower right and two oblique lines at the upper left continue the bamboo shadows. The two faces balance detail and quiet space. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and coordinated metal fittings continue the calm visual rhythm of Ten Scenes Along the Way.
