Kunpeng · Striking the Water

From sea to sky, a journey carried by the wind. Kunpeng · Striking the Water uses warm natural brass, with shallow relief and fine lines enclosed by a thin round rim. A Kun fish curves along the lower arc and turns upward toward the left, its tail gathered to the right. Three short water strokes at upper left suggest the rhythm of a leap. A plain central mounting field and three clear apertures keep the ornament around the outer arc, with relief and natural metallic highlights providing depth. The reverse retains three short water strokes at upper left and one small tail-arc motif at lower right. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and plain warm-brass fittings continue the collection’s shared material and ornament.
