Five Peaks, One Horizon · Mount Song

Near ridges, distant peaks, a changing horizon. Five Peaks, One Horizon · Mount Song develops a mountain landscape on deep-brown colored brass. A measured row of peaks spans the upper field, with upright rock lines answering folded ridges around the lower edge. A rounded-square outline and fine warm-brass border gather the composition, while warm-brass ridgelines and restrained silver-white mist define its layers. Three short upright ridge marks at the upper right and a small cloud at the lower left continue the rhythm on the reverse. A dark-brown wrapped grip, ivory diamond windows and coordinated brass fittings connect the two faces and extend the material, palette and border shared with the other four members of Five Peaks, One Horizon.
