Ten Scenes Along the Way · Distant Lantern
A passing scene, a moment held in the hand. Ten Scenes Along the Way · Distant Lantern uses a four-lobed outline, graphite-black colored brass and restrained warm-brass accents shared across the collection. A small lantern hangs from a slender branch at the upper right as three stepping stones enter from the lower left, its fine ribs touched with warm brass. Only the central mounting aperture is retained, leaving a continuous metal field for the motif and open space. A tiny hanging hook at the upper left and three stepping-stone marks at the lower right echo the scene. The two faces balance detail and quiet space. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and coordinated metal fittings continue the calm visual rhythm of Ten Scenes Along the Way.
