Five Peaks, One Horizon · Mount Tai

Near ridges, distant peaks, a changing horizon. Five Peaks, One Horizon · Mount Tai develops a mountain landscape on deep-brown colored brass. A broad layered massif fills the upper field, with ridges opening toward the right and low foothills meeting two small ribbons of mist below. A rounded-square outline and fine warm-brass border gather the composition, while warm-brass ridgelines and restrained silver-white mist define its layers. A short ridgeline at the upper left and a small silver-white cloud at the lower right leave the deep-brown reverse largely quiet. A dark-brown wrapped grip, ivory diamond windows and coordinated brass fittings connect the two faces and extend the material, palette and border shared with the other four members of Five Peaks, One Horizon.
