Near ridges, distant peaks, a changing horizon. Five Peaks, One Horizon · Mount Hua develops a mountain landscape on deep-brown colored brass. Sharp peaks gather at the upper right, answering a rocky ledge at the lower left through a diagonal ridge and finely engraved cliff lines. A rounded-square outline and fine warm-brass border gather the composition, while warm-brass ridgelines and restrained silver-white mist define its layers. Two angular peak outlines at the upper right and sparse mist at the lower left make a quieter echo of the front. A dark-brown wrapped grip, ivory diamond windows and coordinated brass fittings connect the two faces and extend the material, palette and border shared with the other four members of Five Peaks, One Horizon.
