Tortoise Bearing Peaks · Watching the Shore

Peaks carried in stillness, water given a quiet voice. Tortoise Bearing Peaks · Watching the Shore uses a rounded-square outline and graphite-gray colored brass, with restrained warm-brass accents along shell ridges and landscape lines. One tortoise rests on a low stone at lower right and raises its head toward upper left; a short shoreline at left balances the shell. Shallow shell relief meets open space around a single central aperture. The reverse retains one short shoreline at lower left and a small stone at upper right. Black wrapping, ivory diamond windows and plain warm-brass fittings continue the collection’s shared visual rhythm.
