Zhulong · Day and Night connects Dawn Awakening, In Daylight, Dusk Settling and Night Passage through purple-black colored brass, thin oval rims and fine warm-brass lines. A human-like face and serpentine body follow the outer arc. Open or closed eyes and the placement of sun and moon mark morning, day, dusk and night, with small muted red accents on the body.
Each primary face forms a different scene. Simpler reverses retain sun, moon, ridges, wind lines or stars. A plain mounting field and single tapered aperture give the long figure and open space room to balance.
